So You're Twittering. Now What?
Follow me on Twitter:

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service, that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length. Twitter is an excellent tool for teacher professional development and, in my opinion, is critical for building a varied and widely dispersed personal learning network (PLN). Because it takes some time to build a network of people that you follow, Twitter's uniqueness isn't revealed immediately.

For now, let's assume you're on Twitter, following other educators, and "tweeting". Now what? There are many ways to interact with Twitter beyond simply going to the website. In fact, there are dozens of applications available to extend the functionality of Twitter.
